Description
The False Personifer Angelfish (Chaetodontoplus meredithii), also known as the Meredith’s Angelfish or Bluemask Angelfish, is a highly prized, striking marine species native to the western Pacific Ocean, particularly around Eastern Australia and New Guinea. Known for its elegant swimming style and bold coloration, it features a primarily black body, a vibrant yellow tail, and a blue-green face. It is one of the few angelfish species that exhibits clear sexual dimorphism; adult males display a speckled yellow pattern across their blue faces and have slightly longer bodies, while females retain a more uniform hue with clean vertical bars.
